ASL WORD PLUNGE is a gravity driven word game to help you learn American Sign Language fingerspelling. It is like the classic Word Plunge game except it uses ASL fingerspelling symbols instead of letters.
Stage 1 is to setup the starting position. Place 10 letters in a ramp.
Stage 2 you place letters one-at-a-time in the top-most row. When that row is full it will fall into place. Any completed rows will score.
Letters that contribute to a score (used in a scoring word) will then disappear and the remaining letter will fall into place. If this causes a cascade you get a 50 point bonus and a previously blocked row will clear.
If a row is completed and scores no words then that row is BLOCKED. The game ends when there are no unblocked rows.
If a row is completed with a 5-letter word, then that row and one previously blocked row are cleared and the remaining letters fall into place.
A row will score all words of length 3 or more contained within. For example, MAPES will score MAP, APE and APES.
